Maison Magenta is continuing the very popular Craft & Cocktails and this time it’s a series.
There are 2 workshops to choose from:
Jewellery Upcycling Workshop & Macramé Workshop
Macramé Workshop Demonstration
Sept 27th: 2pm - 3pm
This session with introduce guests to Macramé as both an accessible craft and a sustainable design practice. The installation currently on shpw in the hotel’s display cabinet - crafted in macramé - reflects the movement of sea waves, the shimmer of sea foam, and the textures of fishing nets.
You will have the opportunity to recreate elements of this display, which serves as a backdrop to Anastasia’s upcycled accessory collection. The workshop will also provide space to discuss how reclaimed materials can be transformed into new forms and narratives.
Guests are invited to bring their own ribbon or rope to personalise their creations. All skil levels are welcome!
Ticket includes:
Two refreshing mocktails
Guided demonstration and step-by-step instruction throughout
Hands-on tutorship and individual assistance
A brief portfolio presentation highlighting the inspiration behind the upcycled mirror shard collection currently exhibited at Albion House.
