We want to share with you the fabulous, unrivalled views we have from Albion House, Ramsgate’s rooms and suites. Twelve of our fourteen rooms have sea views, the harbour or the beach. Draw back your curtains, raise the blind or open the original shutters installed at the end of the 18th Century and take in this view either from your bed, whilst reclining on our carefully selected antique furniture or step out on to the grand, wrap-around balcony.

The rooms in Albion House, Ramsgate are arranged in a fashion which acknowledges its original layout. As a place the aristocracy would have stayed for ‘a season’ during the 19th Century the first floor rooms have the highest ceilings and the balcony, the spacious sea view rooms on the second floor have a commanding view of the harbour and beach and the third floor cosy rooms envelop you in their warmth and comfort.

Little Victoria’s room, where a young Princess Victoria recuperated in 1835, boasts beautiful high ceilings with elegant, Georgian inspired doors that lead out on to the wrap-around balcony. A super king sized bed, and the last of the setting sun over the Royal harbour makes this room a very special place to stay.

Following a gruelling tour, Princess Victoria fell ill and took rest here in Albion House, Ramsgate. Residing in this room, Princess Victoria was being pressurised by Sir John Conroy, her mother’s aide, to make him her Private Secretary upon her coronation giving him wide ranging powers.  Despite her fragile state she resisted and went on to become one of our most revered monarchs four years later.
