A Seaside Boutique Hotel with a rich history of special guests in Ramsgate, Kent.
Gemma Bowes, The Guardian
Firstly, the Albion is a gorgeous creation. With wow-factor antiques, adeptly sourced by Fontaine Decorative, and fashionably dark walls, the heritage interior design is spot on for this large seafront Regency townhouse, built in 1791. As soon as I step inside, I love it.

Aficionados of Georgian and Regency Ramsgate, full of history and interest, and those looking for somewhere different for a weekend away, will find Albion House an appropriate base.
ROBERT JOHNSTON, GQ Magazine
Built in the late 1800s, the former town hall that houses the Albion House Hotel once boasted a young Princess Victoria as a guest. Managers Ben and Emma Irvine have done a great job in returning it to its former glory and the planned establishment would be at home in the hippest enclaves of east London - and beyond.

My room, No 7, has lovely sweeping views. The beds are made in Devon, with a lambs' wool mattress that is supremely comfortable; I could have slept for ever...Overall, it's a blend of contemporary-antique, with a luxuriously soft carpet that I wanted to lie down and stroke, while the marbled bathroom, with separate bath and rainhead shower, seemed as big again as the bedroom.
